छुट्टियों की अपनी खुद की घड़ी होती है
रोज़मर्रा की सुइयाँ ऑफ-ड्यूटी होती हैं

एक और वीकएंड तुम्हारे साथ मनाया।

The everyday clock-hands are off duty, 

Celebrated another weekend with you.

घर पर छाता है बारिश का दिनों से
एक बूँद भी सूरज की नहीं बरसी है

पीता तो नहीं पर, चाय पिलाओगी?

For days now an umbrella of rain's been upon the house,
Not even a single drop of sunshine, has fallen ever since,

Though am not a tea guy yet, would you make me a cup?
