कोरे क़ाग़ज़ पे जैसे, उतर रहें नए मायने 

वही सियाही ग़ुज़र रही है नई सी लहराते 

जूड़े से रिहा कर वेणी में बाँध लिए हैं बाल। 

New meanings alight upon the blank paper,

The same ink passes through in new waves,

Released from the bun, hair's retied in plaits.
