न जाने इस बीच कब झपकी सी लग गयी थी
बिन मौसम की ओस ने नज़्म को जगा दिया।
Pulling off the day's coverlet, wrapping up the night's duvet,
Somewhere in between, did not realize when, had dozed off;
The off seasoned dewdrops, had woken up that blank-verse.
