जाने क्या

किसी नज़्म सी उन्हें पढ़ लूँ ये कोशिश करता हूँ
पहेली सी बूझने की या ग़ज़ल सी गुनगुनाने की

जाने कब क्या कहतीं हैं, तुम्हारी चमकतीं आँखें।

I try that I might read them like some verse,
Solve like a riddle or hum them like a song,

Wonder what do they say, your shining eyes.
