अभी बहार ने नए कपड़े सिये नहीं थे दरख्तों के
पतझड़ ने पुराने उतार कर ज़मीन पे बिछा दिए

ज़रा और क़रीब बैठो मेरे, सर्दियाँ आने वालीं हैं। 

The spring had yet to finish sewing new clothes for the trees,
The autumn stripped their old ones & laid them on the earth,

Please sit a little more close to me, winters are soon to come.
