बड़ी ही अच्छी ख़ुशबू थी बाहर बरामदे में
दोपहर बस हुई भर थी, भूख लग आई थी

दफ़्तर से यूँ ही, मैं जल्द निकल आया हूँ।

Smelt really delicious, out in the verandah,
It was just afternoon, I was getting hungry,

Just like that, I've left early from the office.
